UTS 15.1.41

The UTS on Mobile app is an official Android mobile ticketing app provided by Indian Railways for booking unreserved train tickets. This app allows users to easily book tickets without needing to go through the traditional ticketing process.

However, there are certain restrictions on who can use the utsonmobile application. It is not available to individuals who are under the age of seventeen or have been previously suspended or removed from the services by Indian Railways.

By accepting the Terms & Conditions or by using the service or website, it is assumed that the user is at least seventeen years old and has not been suspended or removed from the services before. Users must also affirm that they have the authority and capacity to enter into this agreement and will abide by all terms and conditions. It is strictly prohibited to impersonate another person or entity, or provide false information regarding identity, age, or affiliation.

Before availing the utsonmobile app service, users must meet certain prerequisites:

• The app is available in Android, Windows, and iOS versions.
• The smartphone must have good GPRS connectivity.
• Smarthones intending to use paperless mode of tickets must be GPS enabled.

To begin using the utsonmobile app services, users need to register through either the app or the website (https://www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in). During registration, users need to provide details such as their mobile number, name, password, gender, and date of birth. The mobile application will send a one-time password (OTP) to validate the provided mobile number. After successful registration, users will receive an SMS confirming their registration with a zero-balance R-Wallet account.

Once registered, users can log in to the utsonmobile app using their credentials.

The utsonmobile app offers the following services:

1. Book Tickets: Users can book normal and quick journey or return tickets, as well as platform and season tickets. There is also a QR booking feature for platform, journey, and return tickets.
2. Ticket Cancellation: Users can cancel paper tickets before printing them, provided that the booking amount is greater than the cancellation charges. However, paperless tickets cannot be cancelled.
3. Booking History: Users can view their booking history.
4. R-Wallet: Users can check their R-Wallet balance, recharge it, view the transaction history, or surrender the R-Wallet.
5. Profile: Users have the option to change their city, frequent travel route, journey details, password, handset request, personal details, and sync ticket information.
6. Show Booked Ticket: This feature allows users to display their ticket to the TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) or TC (Ticket Collector). An offline mode is also available in case there is no internet connection.

It is important to note that paperless ticket booking (Book and Travel) is not allowed within train or station premises. To book a paperless ticket, users must be away from station premises or railway tracks. For Paper Ticket (Book and Print) mode of booking, it is mandatory to print the ticket from ATVM/CoTVM kiosks or General Booking counters at the station before boarding the train.
